Routine House Cleaning Checklist

Get’er Done Cleaning Services created this checklist to cater to you: your home, your services, and your priorities. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, floors and dusting. On every cleaning we’ll make sure that those areas shine. The rest of your service is up to you: pick the living areas on which you want us to focus first and we’ll work through the areas of your home according to your priority. We work with our clients (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly) to ensure that your “trouble spots” are clean.

Janitorial Services — Cleaning Tools In Rockledge, FL

Bathrooms

  • Sink thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and rinsed
  • Tub and/or shower tiles thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and rinsed
  • Chrome fixtures cleaned and shined
  • Toilets disinfected inside and out, including base and behind
  • Vanity top cleaned (more time may be required to remove and replace items on top)
  • Mirrors cleaned
  • Windowsills dusted
  • Trash emptied and liner/bag replaced (customer to provide if not standard size)
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Vacuum and/or wash floor
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates

 Kitchen

  •  Countertops and backsplash cleaned (all items removed and replaced)
  • Cabinet fronts dusted
  • Sinks scrubbed and disinfected
  • Floor vacuumed or washed
  • Exterior of appliances (oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop) cleaned (interior cleaned upon request - ask for details)
  • Microwave cleaned inside and out
  • Small appliances wiped
  • Windowsills dusted
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork
  • Trash emptied and liner/bag replaced (customer to provide if not standard size)
  • Wash or dust table and chairs

 

Bedrooms

  •  Carpets vacuumed
  • Beds made (linens changed upon request at the estimate visit)
  • All areas dusted
  • Picture frames dusted
  • Mirrors cleaned
  • Windowsills dusted
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, desks, doorframes, and switch plates
  • Vacuum under bed (if accessible) 
  • Trash emptied
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Lampshades dusted
  • Light, general straightening completed

 

Other Living Areas, Including Hallways and Stairs

  • All areas dusted 
  • Cushions and pillows fluffed and straightened
  • Hardwood or tile floors damp-mopped
  • Carpeted floors vacuumed
  • Baseboards dusted and cobwebs removed
  • Windowsills dusted
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, doorframes, and switch plates
  • Glass tables cleaned
  • Picture frames dusted
  • Lamp shades dusted
  • Light, general straightening completed
  • All ceiling fans dusted
  • Sliding glass door cleaned inside and out if not restricted by a dog

Get’er Done Cleaning Services wants our clients to have a choice of the level cleaning that they receive at their home. That’s why we offer our special DELUXEpackage to every client. You can request that package at any time: every cleaning or whenever you think you need the extra services. Every Top-to-Bottom Deluxe Cleaning includes the general cleaning list by hand with detail emphasis and focus on buildup, plus the following:

  • Ceiling fan blades (hand washed or wiped)
  • Light fixtures (hand washed in place, not removed)
  • Blinds and shutters (vacuumed or dusted or wiped) mini-blinds dusting only
  • Baseboards (hand washed or wiped, reachable w/o moving furniture)
  • Lamps and lampshades (dusted or vacuumed with attachment)
  • Picture frames (hand wiped)
  • Furniture (polished, fronts, sides, legs)
  • All cabinet fronts (washed)
  • All doors (washed)
  • Tub/shower and tiles (double scrubbed if build up present)

Note:

  • We do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder. Higher items will be dusted with an extension duster.
  • We cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.
  • Many homes have at least one chandelier or a vaulted ceiling fan that we cannot reach by hand.
  • Please allow for some dust resettlement after we leave, we try to limit the dust in the air but cannot prevent this entirely.
  • Artwork in Frames not covered by glass are dusted only (frame only not art)

We cannot guarantee the results of mini-blinds cleaning. Excessive buildup may require special cleaning. Also, due to the fragile design of miniblinds, they are easily bent or damaged and the drawstrings can become non-functional easily (especially with age).
